I’ll add more developed concepts later, but I thought I’d better get one up here before too much time slipped away…
If this is viable option, I’d go out there and get a much more dramatic perspective on Red Bird.
04/09/2009 at 6:41 am #1904514What would be really fun to stage out there would be one of those cliff face tents. String one of those up along the cliff with a GPSr dangling from the opening and the logo stuck on the canvas and you got yourself a perfect T!
… with a hand reaching out of the tent for the cache hanging 2 feet away…
04/11/2009 at 12:33 pm #1904515How would I go about posting pictures here? I have a design drawn and don’t want to miss the deadline.

send me a PM, I’ll post it to my server and link to it here.
04/11/2009 at 4:28 pm #1904517The production of this would probably be done in 3 screen colors. The 2 logo colors and some other color, yellow maybe, to brighten things up a bit. Or, It could be reproduced in 4 colors. Just trying to keep costs down.
Tried to drop an ammo can on there, but that looked hokey. On the other hand, if I went out and got a good perspective shot with an ammo can in place, that would look right.

How bout a simple, small WGA logo over the left pocket area with WGA Campout – High Cliff State Park -blah blah blah around it? While some of the submissions are nice, I tend not to buy or wear T-shirts with big guady designs on them anymore.04/13/2009 at 12:52 pm #1904519Here’s labrat’s submission…
04/13/2009 at 6:42 pm #1904520…and SGTToad82’s…
I like the concept.. with a little refinement, it’d even make a nice coin!
04/13/2009 at 9:54 pm #1904521Getting some interesting choices, keep up the submissions, folks!
04/14/2009 at 2:03 am #1904522I like the concept..
That is all my picture is. I am all for revisions. It should be looked at as a rough draft of sorts.
My personal favorite is seldom’s.
04/14/2009 at 12:59 pm #1904523…by teamhandstand who tried to post this concept image on the 8th…
04/14/2009 at 5:22 pm #1904524Thanks for all the submissions everyone! If I counted right, we have 9 potential shirt designs (not counting the different variations / options for each design) from 7 artists. Not all were posted here, as some emailed / PMed / or snail mailed in their designs.
I plan to post all the entries in the Campout Committee forum tonight, so if you have a great idea that you haven’t posted or want to tweak a design you’ve already submitted, you have until midnight tonight. I think the goal is for the Committee to pick a design by the end of the week.
04/15/2009 at 2:31 pm #1904525OK, our members are even more creative than I thought! We received a total of 12 shirt design submissions. You can view them all in the WGA Photo Album:
2009 Campout T-Shirt Designs Album
Note that the names of the individuals who submitted these designs have been temporarily omitted so as to not to bias the decision… we are not trying to deny anyone credit for their ideas.
Feel free to lobby the Campout Committee members to vote for your favorite design. 🙂 There are so many good options to choose from…
04/19/2009 at 7:48 pm #1904526Let’s hear from you all. we have some great designs and would like some feedback.

04/20/2009 at 2:51 pm #1904527I very much like the guy walking off of the logo.
I really am growing quite attached to the new logo, and want to see it proudly displayed on the shirt this year. The walking off the edge of the W looking at a GPSr is PERFECT for the location as well, since that could easily happen at High Cliff!
I wonder if we could add a tent on top of the “A” to draw in the “camping” theme some are looking for….
Anyway, those are my thoughts, if it helps any!
