      I will be attending with mad_geek. We are heading that way early Friday morning from Madison, though we have to be in the La Crosse area Saturday afternoon so we will not be staying the entire weekend.

      I can not believe all the hides in a 7 mile Radius! I am pumped!

        I’ve submitted the request to the wife and should have word very soon on whether or not this will be a go. tom k. and I are going to try to come with the pop-up for the whole weekend.
        Looks like Lake Lenwood or Timber Trail are my choices for camping.
        That would be awesome if this was a MEGA EVENT. I’ll try to get some more atendees from the Belle City (Racine)area. 😀

          Awesome! Just an FYI for the non-campers: If anyone wanted to stay at Isadora’s Bed & Breakfast, they will give you a discount if you mention you are a geocacher (that’s any time of year!)

                    The grab bag is the top 250 TEAMS, so you’re still safe. For MEGA status, we need 500 PEOPLE. And yes, it is currently just over 400 people from the Will Attend logs. I’m not sure how many are registered through the chamber, so the number might be higher.

                      But unless they get registered on GC those numbers from the chamber do not matter correct?

                          Correct. They’re contacting the 100 or so people that signed up through that site and urging them to sign up on geocaching.com and log a will attend. 😕

                              The Friday Night Pre-Ba$h Meet & Greet Event is now published. (GC1RB4Q)

                              It will be held Aug 14 from 6 to 11 pm at the Old Courthouse. I strongly encourage everyone to attend this fun night of socializing. Bring your trackables to discover and swap! We’ll have downloading equipment available to get the caches pre-loaded for Saturday’s event.

                              Additional Highlights include:
                              **Walk Down Main Street Multi-Cache
                              **Night caches (you’ll have to drive to those)
                              **Free Admittance to Old Courthouse Museum, Old Jailhouse Museum, and The Museum of Wisconsin Art
                              **Drinks will be available for purchase
                              **Coupons for area restaurants over the weekend

                                According to the WB Chamber, we are now at 700 attendees. There are just 19 spots left until we reach 250 teams for goodie bags.
