WANTED: 2010 WGA Geo-Campout T-shirt Design Ideas
We are going to be offering Geo-Campout t-shirts, hoodie sweatshirts and crew sweatshirts for sale again this year and we are looking for ideas as to what we can print on the front of them. The contest will be done in similar fashion to years past, and…..
You can win a free t-shirt!
We will be awarding one free t-shirt to the person submitting the winning design. This person will also be specially recognized at the campout membership meeting and have the eternal gratitude of the Board of Directors. The winning design will be chosen by the Campout Committee from all of the submissions.
With the vendor we have chosen to print the shirts we can have up to 5 colors in the logo plus the color of the shirt itself. The vendor has also agreed to work with us on finalizing the artwork, so even a rough sketch of your ideas would work.
Deadline for submissions: April 13th, 2010 at 11:59 PM
The winner will be announced shortly after the deadline.
You must include the following information somewhere in your design:
The location of the campout: Richard Bong State Recreation Area
The campout dates: May 14th ~ May 16th, 2010
The shelter coordinates: N42 37.571 W088 07.866You can e-mail submissions or questions to gwyn
wi-geocaching com or send me a private message. You can also post your submissions for all to see right here in this forum topic. Good luck to all!
04/05/2010 at 8:38 pm #1925821Ok, I’ll be fist.
Very basic design with all the necessary info. I think some color besides white for the shirt would look better.

04/06/2010 at 3:19 pm #1925823I like that one BakRdz!
Looks GREAT on the brown too!
04/06/2010 at 3:54 pm #1925824Nice. Camping, bonfire, caching.
Why is the WGA logo so small?04/06/2010 at 4:45 pm #1925825Another one to throw in the mix. Put it on different colors to show options.

Text looks small here, but on a shirt it would be legible.

LOL! I see you didn’t forget Hwy 64……
04/06/2010 at 6:01 pm #1925827Just a quick suggestion here, before things get out of hand. If you are planning on submitting multiple designs, be sure they are very different, like Bakrdz did. If you submit a bunch of similar ideas, your votes will get diluted by people voting for different versions of the same thing.

Sweatband, headband, brim of a visor, Hwy 64. See in it what you like…although I think it’s kind of more like U.S. 8.

Cheezehead could probably accept Highway 8, too, but not much farther south.
04/06/2010 at 8:20 pm #1925832I’m just coveting all of your computer software, BakRdz!
04/06/2010 at 8:45 pm #1925833I thought it was the bill of a cap, turning the top part of the state into a ball cap sort of.
“The Northwoods, Wisconsin’s hat since 1848!”
04/06/2010 at 8:54 pm #1925834Still a bit rough considering I did all of it in paint, but here is the general idea
