All submitted Geocoin designs will be posted here by the 2010 geocoin committee.
Please do not post any comments or submissions directly in this thread. If you post here your post will be deleted.
Feel free to use the Design Ideas thread to openly discuss or comment on submitted designs or to help you develop your design: (Link to design thread)
Note: We will try our best to make sure the coin is minted as designed but the 2010 WGA Geocoin committee and/or the selected coin manufacturer reserve the right to modify the winning design if necessary for minting purposes only.

Design Information:
The front of the coin will be like the hand drawing with the alterations of:
– the lakes and rivers will be metal raised through the enamel, like in the computer model
– the compass rose will include a circle like in the computer and clay model
– the sun area will be textured with a clear coat as shown in the clay model
– and the writing across the state could either be raised metal through enamel, or it could be dark blue enamel like in the drawing and computer models
– the Green will be like a “Packer” green, the gold is metal not enamel
– Wisc Geo Assoc will be imprinted and not raised
– 2010 is raised metal through enamel
– the compass rose is raised above the enamel with a clear coat for “texture” in the coinThe back of the coin will most closely resemble the hand drawing with the exceptions of:
– Deet Me! will either be raised metal in the enamel or blue enamel like the drawing or computer model
– Trackable at Geocaching.com will be imprinted
– The area opposite the sun on the back will be the moon and if costs are not too great, it will be glow in the dark enamel
– The tracking number oval will be raised flat metal
– The bug spray will be raised metal to slightly curve above the enamel to create texture
– The “state bird” will more closely resemble the computer model in raised metal
