Since ours where muggled and you said send the copy tag out we just drop it in a cache anywhere and say we picked it up from original cache it was last at and re drop it?

Yep. Since you already dropped it at the event, this move shouldn’t count. If it does, we’ll adjust at the end of the year. But to be fair, YOU should be the one to grab it from the last cache and place it in the next cache.
Sad to say, I have a feeling that Bad Robot is now out of the race. It was last picked up by cachers that are finding less than 10/year. Ah well, he had a good run.
