If you review the Motions you can see another location was voted down. I highly suggest Members review how the BOD works, the monies they spend and all other things by checking the Motions.

I used to be able to see these, but this is all I get now, and have been getting for a while:
“It looks like nothing was found at this location. Would that be a DNF? Check your coords. Maybe try a search?”

Searches just give old stuff, and nothing on the motions, nor the list of BOD members and their email addresses.

Website problems? I didn’t think to bother anyone with this.

They only have 35 sites and almost half are already reserved for that weekend.

If the campground fills up there are other nearby campgrounds

There are sites available in the other two campgrounds, but they are non-reservable. The only reservable ones are in Castle Mound.

This was copied from the DNR site:

Castle Mound campground can be reserved from May 1 through early October. Pigeon Creek and East Fork campgrounds can be reserved from the Thursday before Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. The indoor group camp can be reserved year round, while the outdoor group camp can be reserved from mid-April through November 30. Outside of these seasons, campgrounds are first come first served if open.

There are also nearby county campgrounds so it shouldn’t be a problem if anyone wants to camp 🙂

Only 6 campsites still available in Castle Mound for the picnic weekend if you want to camp. The other two campgrounds are non-reservable.

Black River Falls – great area – hope to be able to make it to the picnic. I love that the WGA is getting us to so many different locations in Wisconsin! Great to be able to explore areas that we might not otherwise visit. Way to go WGA and the BoD. Very much appreciated!

I reserved site #34 today and I see 18 sites of 35 available for Fri and Sat nights, 9/23-24/2016 at Castle Mound CG.

I see 18 now too. Must have had something wrong entered when I looked last time. We have a mini campout started.

I just booked site #12 so I’ll be your neighbors too. But with my track record with campsites, I might not be staying in it anyway. 😉 My plan is to go to Cranberry Fest on Sunday with the family.

Mini campout in the works. At Governor Thompson a few years ago there were about a dozen teams that camped. It was fun despite the cold nights – right Becca?

Ugh, that was a chilly night! But I think I was more cold at this year’s campout at Pinewoods. Last year’s picnic had a bunch of campers as well. I stayed for a little bit but, of course, didn’t use the campsite that I paid for. Good times!

Yikes! Cranberry Fest weekend in Warren. Hotel rooms are pretty sparse already.
