So the group campsite is in the Wisconsin Ridge campground?

(from DNR page)The outdoor group camp has 5 sites with a capacity of 130 persons. The outdoor group camp is near the Wisconsin Ridge campground.

We have reserved group campsite C

We have site 107 reserved.  Looking forward to the event.

Yeah, I’m a bit confused by the information provided here. The first post mentions group site “C” being reserved, but other members have mentioned reserving sites of their own. So, if we are going to stay, do we need to make our own reservations?

The group campsites are for tent camping only. Those with campers/RVs typically reserve their own sites.

So the group site has been reserved by the WGA with primitive camping? We pay a certain amount to someone with the WGA to stay on the group site? If we would prefer to have a site with more modern amenities then we make our own reservations? Pretty sure I understand now. Thank you Jim

Right. At some point the WGA Store will open and you will be able to reserve a spot in the group site.

    Wyalusing State Park:

Has anyone verified that the shower facilities are open? According to the state web page: “The shower building and dump station are closed for the season. A winter water supply is available”

I hope that is incorrect. I bet they do not update that very often and until Memorial Day, this is their slow season with minimal staffing.

The shower building and flush building are open in the Wisconsin Ridge Campground.  The Homestead campground is getting a new building, but it is not open for business yet.
