Just 4 days left to the WGA picnic.

    Here are a few updates:

    1. There will be at least one challenge that you can do while at the picnic. Roast a marshmellow! We will be having a nice fire pit perfect for roasting marshmellows, so bring a bag and have some fun and do a challenge. See http://coord.info/CX224F for details.

    2. More caches have been published, so now there are over 70 within 5 miles and there are still more to come.

    3. There are several caches in the park accessible by canoe, so you may want to bring a canoe or kayak if you have one. If you dont have one, we are looking at ways to obtain a few canoes for our members to use while at the event. More to come on that, once the details are worked out.

    4. For those families that have children joining us for the event, here is a schedule for the activities:

    1:30 – Crafts
    2:00 – Bingo – with Prizes!
3:00 – Group Marshmallow Roasting. Marshmallow’s and roasting utensils will be provided by the WGA for the kids.
3:30 – Scavenger Hunt Sheet Turn-in for Prize

In addition to the above, a kids “candy cache” will be available all day to hunt and we will have a scavenger hunt.
