Ah, thank you Mr. G and everybody else! We had such a blast yesterday getting our 4/4 for #400. My daughter took most of the pictures. She is taking photography in 4-H and wanted to get some potential county fair shots. So look for a photo story about geocaching at the Waukesha County Fair from her. 8)

Congrats on the #400 so are you planning a 5/5 for #500????

        #1948481

Oh boy, I don’t know if I’m up for a 5/5 without help yet. Actually, my goal is to have our #500 on our vacation this summer. We’re heading to the northwest for a week, a quick stop in Glacier National Park, and then a week in Yellowstone. I wouldn’t be surprised if #500 is some sort of EarthCache in a National Park, which would suit me fine. Unfortunately, I’m a little behind on my numbers because of this crappy weather and sick kids.

Great idea Rebecca – finding a 4/4 for #400! We enjoyed reading your log and viewing the pictures. Maybe we’ll start posting pictures with our finds 😉

Great job with #400, and until recently almost all of them with an iPhone. How do you like using that new Garmin?

          #1948484

I’ve seen lots of your pictures! 😆

I like my new GPSr, although I still pull out my phone for the satellite image at times. But it is definately more accurate and I like that. Still trying to figure out all of the features and best way to use it but I’ll get there eventually. I had hoped to get some pointers at the campout but then we didn’t get to go. 🙁 I also really like the fact that my middle child doesn’t really get into geocaching but since I’ve gotten the GPSr he has been more interested in navigating to the caches. Maybe he takes it more seriously since I’m not using my phone anymore for some reason?

Congrats on 400. Sorry you could not make the campout. It was a blast as usual. Hope to bump into you on the trail.

Congratulations! We were up in that area a couple weeks ago and it is a really nice spot to cache. Keep on having fun!
