Okay this is Mrs. TE asking for Mr. TE. Hope I have the question correct.
In the past we have put all the info into a palm. His new machine arrived today and he is unsure how to get the info into it. Can someone point us to a turtorial or tell us what to do?
    thanks,
    Mrs. TE

When I used a palm for paperless I used GSAK to print “Condensed HTML” to a PDF document, then had a PDF reader on the palm. When I synched the Palm with the PC, it copied the file from the PC to the palm, of course, the PDF had to be in a certain folder and that’s only 1 of 100 ways to do it probably.

Assuming he’s using the same “method” to read the information on the palm as when he had the old PC, then I think the answer may lie in getting the new PC ready to sync with the Palm. This usually just involves installing the Palm software. Does the palm cradle connect with Serial or USB to the computer? If it uses serial, then the new PC probably does not have a serial connection, in which case you can get a serial to USB adaptor. When you connect this to the computer it creates something that the computer THINKS is a serial port. This should allow the Palm software to identify the virtual serial port and sync through that.

Am I scratching anywhere close to where you’re itching?
