I know it ain’t nothin to y’all with 1K+ finds, but sometime this afternoon I’m going after find #100, I just don’t know which one it will be yet.
Thanks to a 21-find day yesterday, I’m only 7 away from reaching my first 3 digit milestone.
100 finds is kindof a big deal for me.

A few months ago (when I had 25 finds to my name) I set a goal for myself to have 250 finds by the end of 2010. I think I’m well on track to meet that goal.

Hey we all started at 0 finds, congrats on getting 100 finds today.

Remember them well…the first 100 were the most fun 😀

It’s official. Find #100 came today. Almost didn’t happen though because I sprained my ankle while I was after number 99. Popped a couple ibuprofen and I was good to go for at least 3 or 4 more.

Cheeto’s “Fav Fishing Spot” by Lake Petenwell GC15KNH was my 100th.

Congrats Helidood on your 100th find!!

That is my most favorite fishing spot 🙂

Congrats on 100…it took me a full year to get that many.

Must have been something in the spring air today to get those Rapids cachers out snagging those #100 finds. Congrats on finding yours at one of Cheeto’s favorite spots, Helidood! You’ve been heating up right along with the weather lately!

Yeah, I’m getting out there.. but sooner or later I’ll have to slow down. I’ve pretty much completed Wisconsin Rapids and Friday and Saturday I took a sizable chunk out of both Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids.
Once I start having to drive further and further out of town to go caching I think the price of fuel will catch up with me.

I won’t forget about my other hobbies, flying my helicopters. Time spent doing RC is time not spent geocaching. Geocaching will have to take a back seat.

But really, if I didn’t have my new GPS and was still manually writing coordinates in a notebook (I like to conserve paper and printer ink) and having to enter them by hand into my old GPS, I wouldn’t have anywhere close to 100. Maybe 50 or 60 at this time, who knows?

We echo all the congrats and add some more. You may even surpass your goal this year.

Congratulations, and you’d be surprised how much you can do with manual entry and caching with paper. We were over 1500 before we went paperless!

That first 100 is a special milestone, too. Enjoy all the new places the hobby will take you!

          Congrats on 100.

I found my first 300+ writing coordinates into a notebook and manually entering them. Paperless is fun, but I think I really enjoyed the old way better. I actually read more of the cache page and remembered the details better.

Congrats on #100, that’s the first big milestone everyone wants to hit. You made it, now go find, and plant some more!
