Sometime over the weekend Trekkin’ and Birdin’ hit #7000. We were pleased that they came to our part of the state on Saturday and enjoyed ( at least I think they did ) a hot day of bikin’ on the Bugline. It looks like they might have hit the milestone somewhere along there, but the logs are still coming in. Congratulations Gwyn and Dick and it was nice to get to see you for a few minutes with our chance meeeting.

06/02/2010 at 12:35 pm #1930224Congratulations!! I thought hitting our 1,000 was big I can’t imagine 7,000!!! Keep it up you two!
06/02/2010 at 12:52 pm #1930225Thanks, we aren’t exactly sure just which one was really 7000, but we know it was on the Bugline somewhere. We thought we’d found 100 that day, but after logging them all, it was 99. You can see we didn’t have a real organized plan to tracking our finds that day!
And the next TWO days, we had a total of 15 finds. A paddle down the Pecatonica River with a great group. What else can a person do that allows such a variety of options?
Thanks again….
Okay, I *think* it might have been Sunshine’s Souper Cache. Sounds good!

Okay, I *think* it might have been Sunshine’s Souper Cache. Sounds good!Sunshine said that would be “souper”. Since 10 of them were our hides and the rest we have found, after bumping into you that day I felt almost like I was along for the ride except I didn’t get all sweaty and my butt didn’t hurt.
06/02/2010 at 3:04 pm #1930230😯 7000? Holy crap! Way to go guys. I’m sure I’ll be old and gray before I get that many 😀
