Thank you, thank you, thank for this thread!! I’m meeting Accordiongal in Vegas in January while she’s tied up in Mayo Clinic meetings on a Thursday at New York, New York without a car and a few hours to kill before she’s available. What’s around there for a caching foot tour in a few hours of daylight before the freaks come out and I head in?

We’re heading out on Friday to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area – hit the Earth Caches and do some serious hiking/caching. Jean wants to cross the borders and grab a California cache and an AZ cache, and hit Hoover Dam and the lights at Fremont. Suggestions, anyone??? Home on Sunday am. Any suggestions for hotels near Red Rock Canyon (cheap) and caching near Hoover Dam? (quickies and easy?) I see virtuals abound in downtown/strip from the above entries. A good thing. Virtual(s) at Fremont Ave. light show???? … Is Wayne Newton considered a virtual find???? And last, but certainly not least, does ANYONE have the coords to “…what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas…” ?? Anyone? Anyone???

Well, since Doc can’t come on Wednesday, I get to cache from 12 noon until conference start. Plan on sleeping during conference! I will have a car!

Well if you can google map or use the GPSr to log in the intersections of Sunset Rd and Pecos Rd, you will arrive at Wayne Newtons Shenandoah ranch. Actually as you fly in and you are on the left side of the plane, just about one minute before landing you can see his whole ranch out the window.
