We know full well that people are going to help each other out solving some puzzles. Heck, we’ve done that ourselves. Not a problem at all, it’s a great way to connect with other folks and expand your repertoire of puzzle solving tricks.
However……with facebook often being the venue for such things, this is just a gentle request that when you put out a call for help, it might be nice if those offering help remember there is a private message function there. When solve help goes to such a public venue, the difficulty of a puzzle is definitely affected as that travels through the social media network. Kind of the new wave of the much discussed puzzle bus of the past.

and as always, message the puzzle owner. many will offer a shove in the correct direction if you can tell them what you have done so far to solve the puzzle. give a little due diligence to the solve before seeking help. And remember, you don’t have to solve them all.
