January 2019 update. We’re now up to 103 known Wisconsin-based geocachers that have created a pathtag, past and present. Shown here is one from each of them. Can you think of any other Wisconsin geocachers or geocaching teams missing from the list?

I know I added on the facebook post of the tags. But as I have been adding more WI tags to my collection, I came across ‘imjedi’ tag #5128 that I inadvertently collected and realized they are/were a WI cacher in Madison area. Been slowly adding WI tags to my collection and this list has helped figure some of them out!

We got a Halloween pathtag from Ferret101 after they caught a fish in Appleton. I do not see it up on the list.

The list only includes one pathtag from each known Wisconsin-based geocacher.  Some geocachers have created 50 or more different pathtag designs.  However, there are now at least five more to add to the list, which will get updated later this Spring – stay tuned!

June 2019 update. With several people recently creating their very first pathtag, we’re now up to 112 known Wisconsin-based geocachers that have created a pathtag, past and present. Shown here is one from each of them. Can you think of any other Wisconsin geocachers or geocaching teams missing from the list?

October 2019 pathtag update. There are now 118 known WGA members past and present that have created at least one pathtag. Shown here is one pathtag from each of them (some have created many pathtag designs). Pathtags are trackable personal coins/swag similar to travel bugs that people trade or put in caches, except that when you find one you get to log it and keep it! 🙂

This is awesome. I see you swapped out my muskie tag for my original in January 🙂

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Good catch!  I was thinking for the next update I’d swap designs on almost all of them where two or more designs are available to choose from.  Your original, BTW, is my favorite of all of yours.

Great idea! And thanks, it was my first attempt in designing a tag. I will be doing a version 2.0 in the next couple of months.

July 2020 quarterly pathtag update. There are now 126 known Wisconsin geocachers past and present that have created at least one pathtag. Shown here is one pathtag from each of them (some have created many pathtag designs). Pathtags are trackable personal coins/swag similar to travel bugs that people trade or put in caches, except that when you find one you get to log it and keep it! 🙂 I know of at least three more that haven’t yet been minted but are on their way. Do you see any pathtag owners missing from the list?
