We had a perfect Easter today. We spent the entire day with our children and grandchildren. After church, food and hunting Easter eggs we headed to Mukwonago with OPPS5 in quest of #1000 for them. We had been to GC1T963 Where Eagles Fly with 13 year old Emma in January and decided against the 40′ climb up the pine tree due to weather conditions. Emma’s been itching to go back and make the climb and things worked out perfect for this milestone for them today. We ended the day with 12 finds when we ran out of daylight. This is an activity that we never would have been a part of if they wouldn’t have taken us out for our first find four years ago. Even though our numbers have far exceeded theirs in that time our best caching times are when we’re out with them. Congratulations Becky, Doug, Emma, Evan and Eric.
Check out the pictures on their log.
04/05/2010 at 2:36 am #1926786Those pics are totally cool! Love Emma in her bunny ears, plus the zeroes in the milestone number. Great way to get to #1000, OPPS5! (And congrats to Mr. G and Sunshine on the good-looking family, too!)
04/05/2010 at 3:07 am #1926787Congratulations Opps5 on your newest milestone! I love the pictures posted, quite creative. Emma makes the climb look easy, perhaps I can borrow her some time to make that climb again? 😉 Looking forward to seeing the entire Opps5 group and MGT&Sunshine too in the near future.
B.Q.04/05/2010 at 5:17 am #1926788Congratulations OPPS5!! I have been wondering when this was going to happen. I have seen a few logs that you were on a quest to achieve this milestone this spring. Mr. Greenthumb told me a while ago the cache you picked for the milestone. Our paths have never crossed, but we have heard a few stories of your adventures. Welcome to the millennium club, as someone told me when we arrived to the club last month the jackets are on back order. Congrats.

04/05/2010 at 12:43 pm #1926791Congrats! Not sure about age restrictions for the 1K Club, but we’ll send a key anyway! You’ll need to figure out the secret handshake, though. 😉
Nice pictures! (can you pick up cable with those ears?)
04/05/2010 at 1:21 pm #1926792Congrats, I love the pictures and the aforementioned head ornimentation
04/06/2010 at 1:08 pm #1926793Sheesh! I leave town for a weekend and milestones are popping up all over the place…but it was great weather for caching…and congratulations on joining the K Klub 😀
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
04/07/2010 at 1:34 am #1926794tom k. and I visited that cache back in January on the exact day that you had decided not to risk the climb. That one is WAY up there and definitely worth the milestone. Congrats!
04/07/2010 at 4:43 pm #1926795Congrats on the 1K milestone. The next 1000 gets easier for sure. Good choice of caches too – 8)
04/30/2010 at 3:55 am #1926796A heartfelt congratulations from the Ecorangers! Sorry it took so long to post here. We’ve enjoyed geocaching with you all at the camp cache n jam and the Winter Janboree (to list a few). Way to go and thanks for posting the pictures. Have fun on your camp outing in June. We are so proud of you Becky, Doug, Emma, Evan and Eric.
See ya soon (we hope). Tami, Wade, Dane & Tait -
