Congratulations to jar42 on his 2000th find on 9/17/2013 at the Mirror Lake: WGA State Park Series cache (GC4MW62). To me the 2000 finds that Jim has logged are quite impressive, as he is anything but a powertrail kind of cacher. Finding as many lonely caches and others that are off the beaten path make Jim a unique throwback in today’s seemingly fast-paced world of geocaching. I admire what Jim has brought to the game and the effort that he puts into making sure that the great caches that are seldom visited stay in play. So congrats on 2000, and here is to whatever the next bend in the road reveals to you in the future. Well done!

09/18/2013 at 3:13 pm #1972394Congratulations on the 2000 finds, Jim! Love finding your caches, and we love reading your logs when you find ours… or any others. Great place to have a milestone, and any GLS cache is worthy of one!

That’s not far from what was going on. I dropped the receiver and the screen went blank. It came back on but thereafter was showing signs of having a concussion.
09/22/2013 at 10:55 pm #1972401Congratulations Jim. That is an awesome milestone. Had fun doing a few of those trekking in the snow with you this past winter.
