a new event coming to town

AstroD-Team is planning another event in Green Bay on July 23rd (page to be put up soon). Without giving too much away, can an event be centrally located (registration, food etc) while all the temp caches themselves are some where else (needing a car to get too)?

I only ask because we have a great opportunity to enlist the help of several groups and organizations which would enable us to create very interesting caches as well as several nice surprises along the way.

The thing about hosting an event is that you get to plan it the way you want it. You can put the caches where you choose and people can either go find them or not…that’s completely up to them. The events aren’t supposed to be held for the primary purpose of caching anyhow! The hides are just a bonus to the day. So I say put them where you want and have fun doing it!
Team Badger held recently held an event and did just that. We only put out 2, one of which was on the property and one was a drive-to. There was also a permanent cache placed to commemorate the event…something you may want to think about.
