❓ Does Wisconsin have a new Reviewer (approves new geocaches in Wisconsin? Just curoius as I saw this name as the approver of a new cache.
RockyMtnReviewer
Thanks,
Tami
PS I did send him/her an e-mail thanking them for giving up their time to approve Wi. caches. 😆02/03/2007 at 5:54 am #1769677Could it be a back up reviewer helping out?
02/03/2007 at 2:37 pm #1769678We don’t have a new Reviewer for WI. He’s probably just helping out while one of ours is out of town snowmobiling.
02/03/2007 at 3:44 pm #1769679Caches that require special approval like Earthcaches are done at a higher pay level. I’m assuming thats what you saw. Cheese-Wis and WGA2 are currently the only two active reviewers.

Sounds like a mystery? ❓02/03/2007 at 4:38 pm #1769681Speculation #2:
The submitter of the cache listed WY as the state (one entry away from WI on the list) and it fell into the other reviewers list of work. That reviewer probably just cleaned it up and approved it instead of chastising 😉 the submitter.
Cachers can’t type.
We won’t talk abooot revieuers keybraod sjulls/.02/03/2007 at 6:04 pm #1769682@Cheese-Wis wrote:

Actually, we have 3 active reviewers. My review region is Iowa.
02/03/2007 at 7:05 pm #1769683😆 Congratulations (Detective) Cheese-Wis for solving the mystery.
Can’t thank ALL the Reviewers enough for all the time they give up reviewing caches. So THANKS you guys! 😀
Maybe you’ll catch a break this week with all the cold weather….wishful thinking eh? 😈 Tami
02/06/2007 at 3:04 pm #1769684The cache in question is one of Sloughfoot’s GCY6J5. Even though my typing skills aren’t all that great ( I use the middle finger on the left hand and the index finger on the right hand) this one wasn’t really a typing problem but a slippery mouse problem. When you fill out the on-line form the state is on a pull-down menu with Wisconsin and Wyoming being right above each other and I didn’t realize that I had selected WY instead of WI. Rocky-Mt-Reviewer approved it and after I emailed him/her the state was changed to WI. The first few cachers actually found it with the WY still in place. I was thinking boy this is a good way to get those tough ones approved but it was purely accidental.
Another funny thing that maybe you didn’t notice was when the weekly update came out this one showed up as being in our area but had Wyoming as the state. I wonder if anyone got Wyoming checked off on their list of states that they have found a cache in and wondered how that happened.
02/06/2007 at 7:14 pm #1769685🙄 No Sloughfoot, your’s was not the one in question. It was GC10N16.
Looks like the reviewer in Wyoming has extra time on their hands to help us out from time to time. I wonder how many other caches he/she was kind enough to approve for Wi? THANKS! 😆
