ski hill? psh, nothing. we had two cross country meets in our conference that were on ski hills (Drummond and Bayfield)… we only have to run this once. Bayfield’s course went up 4 different runs 😯 👿
12/28/2010 at 8:42 pm #1940781Nate, Which date and wave time did you choose? As for Brian…yeah, I used to be young and fit once! We’ve hiked up those hills to find caches of yours, well worth the hike, but way beyond our skills now! Have at it!
(BTW, when I *was* young and fit, hills were my forte…but not with my knee problems now).

Silly question, south of Hwy 64 of course….
Well that narrows it down 😆 How did this thread turn from the race to the picnic?
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
12/29/2010 at 4:02 pm #1940789The date of the picnic, I would assume, is September 17, 2011, since it’s the third Saturday in September. People wanting to do the Warrior event may not realize this and could choose the Sunday date if they want to do both. Also, if the picnic was being considered for that area, or for nowhere near, people could make their “warrior” decisions based on that.
Since this is the WGA website, I thought that the WGA information should be available for people to consider before committing themselves to another event. There was a conflict with another geocaching event on the 2010 date, and people were able to decide how they wanted to spend their weekend based on all the information available.

What have you done to my wife? I saw this three months ago and asked her if she was interested she thought I was nuts. She saw your posting today and asked me.
So now Saturday 10:30 and count two more in.Hope to see many more cachers there.
The same company does the Great Urban Race which is an Amazing Race type event that looks like fun also, there is one in Madison but we can’t make that one due to other plans
01/07/2011 at 4:09 pm #1940792I posted in “off topic” about another race, this one in Watertown WI…new this year, the Rockman Challenge. Check the details in off topic.
This race is one week later….so you folks could do both.
01/07/2011 at 9:20 pm #1940793I’m signed up for the Warrior Dash Saturday 10:30am wave. Lord help me.
