I need some help here. I am reading this board and I just cant figure out all the abbreviations that are used. I figured out TFTC= Terrific Find Terrific Cache and TNLN= Took Nothing Left Nothing. But I have seen others out there that I just can’t figure out. Now of course I don’t have a list of the ones I can’t figure out so if you all would help me by just listing the abbreviations that you all use, and what they mean I would appreciate it.
tftc= thanks for the cache
tnlnsl= took nothing left nothing signed log

I do a variation on this: T4TC!
I seem to remember acronyms being listed somewhere on some webpage, but I can’t find it right now. So let’s see…
FTF = first to find
DNF = did not find
CITO = cache in trash out
TB = travel bug (of course)
I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting…
OK, here are some links:
Geolex
and of course, the GC.com glossary.
Don’t forget MINE …
MQOTD = Meaningless Question Of The Day, typically followed by the date in parentahsees … parethisese … smooth/curved brackets.
Or my personal favorite: SUYDHL
MB
Now I have one… I’ve noticed JLTC in logs lately. I can think of possible translations, but I’m wondering what the correct one is.
Thanks, Ootek
JLTC … beats me … maybe Junk Left, Took Cache … maybe it’s how mugglers log in?!?!?
Gonna’ have to guess Just Love This Cache. On a side note, I wish there was a clever abbreviation for “I would never have seen this without geocaching”.
How about WOW!!
I think we put that in a lot of logs already.
