The accomplishment is the best reward of all.
cites the creator of Flat Jack aka BakRdz as they both relish
“KVR – Hilo” GC145Q4KUDOS! to all.

06/29/2010 at 2:57 am #1931882First of all, “KVR – HILO” is GC145QH.
Now, is this a celebratory thread for Flat Jack or for BakRdz? I know they’re both pretty cool guys, and that they have lots of adventures together. Sometimes, though, it seems that BakRdz does all of the work, along with Roosevelt, and that Flat Jack just sits in the backpack and pops out for the photo ops.
So I think I’ll confine my congrats to BakRdz on his find #1200. A hundred dozen with more to come! WTG, Jay!
And we’ll say “Kudos to all” of those who went on this most amazing adventure Saturday–the five cachers and their “friends”.
06/29/2010 at 3:27 am #1931883A big CONGRATS on the milestone! Wished I could have come along. I’ve been known to do “retreads” on occassion! 😉
It seems that each time KVR-HILO is found, it gets nominated for COTM. Since I didn’t see Flat Jack in any pictures, he better nominate this cache once again, as there is never a bad review.
I was worried that the group left you behind! Glad to see you survived. An amazing accomplishment for all of you! 😀
06/29/2010 at 12:21 pm #1931884I have only heard the stories and read the logs. Sounds like a blast! Next time you do something like this, let me know. It sounds like it was fun, challenging and a time of making memories! Congrats on accomplishing a mega multi! I love these type because when all is said and done, you can’t help but feel a great sense of satisfaction!

06/29/2010 at 1:11 pm #1931885I know we did congratulations “In the field” for the milestone and completion of the adventure, but I still need to put it here also. WOW what an adventure and I’m glad I was invited along. My only concern is that both times I’ve accompanied you on a milestone they involved “water”. The first was the pair of SSSS caches on 1/1 when we slipped, slided, sunk, and dug in the swamp. Now this one where we he had sweat, humidity, sweat, swamp, and more sweat. 😆 😆 😆
Definately a great adventure even if you were excited about photographing my “trunk” saying you were interested in the butterfly. 😆 😆 😆
06/29/2010 at 1:21 pm #1931886Saying that was quite an adventure seems like an understatement ❗ Congratulations on the milestone 😀

➡ Flat Jack was on scene. Here is his ‘money shot’ Jim.

06/29/2010 at 1:54 pm #1931888Flat Jack is always around when the camera comes out!
06/29/2010 at 2:14 pm #1931889I usually don’t click on those looooooooong links!
But I saw him…CONGRATS TO FLAT JACK, TOO!! 😀

06/29/2010 at 6:53 pm #1931891Warm congrats, Jay, and great choice! Would like to get to that one in the winter sometime! Nicely done with fun logs as usual! 8)
06/30/2010 at 1:19 pm #1931892Flat Jack and I thank you for the Kudos. This was a cache I would have done any day (well…maybe not in the rain) milestone or not. Just glad I got to enjoy it with some friends which made it even better.
06/30/2010 at 1:30 pm #1931893Loved seeing Flat Jack in all those locations in the cache logs! Congrats!

I can relate to that. I don’t think Flat Jack was sweating at all.
BakRdz – Thanks for inviting me to come along. It’s been too long since we cached together. Let’s not wait another 5 months.
