I adopted a cache called End of the Trail

it has my name on it but the profile is for the people that used to have it and now they archived it and I cant get control of it to unarchive it
how do I get my name and profile on it and get control to unarchive it

At the bottom of the cache page you will find the Approver of the cache and a link to their profile. E-mail them directly and they will be able to help you out.

Actually, last I knew an approver cannot change the ownership of a cache. You need to e-mail the admins at [email protected]
Put “cache adoption request” in the subject line.
hmmm… now that you mention it, I believe you’re right. My bad.
If the cache has been archived, I don’t think there is anything stopping you from Putting a new cache in place of the old one. Your only loss would be the previous posts and the time required to make a new cache.
This gives those who have already found the cache, an opportunity to find it again.
