Another email I’ve recieved…
I am a veterinarian that every year plans a fun, ‘top-secret’, team-building event for my clinic and thought that geocaching sounded like a good idea – teams could work together to find items in a preordained period of time – or have to find a specified number of pieces to a puzzle that they then have to assemble.
I however, am completely illiterate when it comes to GPS units, how to set
things up and rules and regulations with regards to the activity and even if
this is a reasonable idea.
[snip]
Would anyone from your organization be willing to help me [snip]? I have a lot of questions and this idea may not even be a viable one, but I at least wanted to explore the idea. My clinic is in Waukesha county close to Oconomowoc and the event is held in August. I sincerely appreciate your time and any assistance.
This individual has again contacted me to let me know the event will be held on August 8.
Please reply here or PM me for additional detatils and contact information.
Let’s get out there and put a positive, proactive face on geocaching in Wisconsin!
As I live in Oconomowoc I would be willing to take him (or her) to a few caches locally and show him / explain how things work. That at least will get this process rolling and then the decision to go forward or not could be made. Feel free to forward my contact info.
