Is the top picture taken at Devil’s River campground by any chance?
It’s in Door County, but the cache name is failing me at the moment…..perhaps it’s a Death’s Door one…
The top one reminds me of the scenery in Peninsula State Park in door County that my family enjoyed when we hiked the Eagle Trail there. No cache on that trail though 🙁
I’ve taken up the fine art of negotiation with my caching partner.
How many caches is too many for a day’s hunt?
He: >2 is too many most of the time.
She: < 10 kind of defeats the purpose if you're a ways from home.
In January: Should we go caching today?
He: I can see white on the ground and my breath in the air. NO
She: The sun is shining and the snow is only up to our knees. YES
We can usually reach a compromise. 😉
I like the ibuprofen and ben-gay, love the photos. Very nice, Bec! I have quite a collection too. The top photo does look a lot like the location for the Death’s Door cache, but I can’t be sure myself.
My wife muttered something about insect identification and detection after finding ticks in the house and even on her when she wakes up in the morning. 😯 I guess that could be a hobby of sorts.
