I’m probably not looking in the right spot but it was announced a while ago that the website was moving and I think I remember it being soon. Haven’t heard anything recently.

Just curious, is it up? Is it being thoroughly tested by the committee? Are we going to start fresh or is data and id/pwds going to move?

    thanks

Work is progressing at a steady pace. There really isn’t anything new to report at this time.

IDs and passwords and avatars will not change. All forum posts, including all 36000 posts in the FTP thread will make the move, as well as the photo galleries. Every news article posted since February, 2002 will be on the new website. Everyone’s milestones and State/County stats are being transferred. Cache of the Month, Cache Rescue and LCG data survived the trip intact. BOD activity and resolution history will be available.

Quite a few of the programs and some of the data required a lot of hammering and bending to make it all work, but the changeover to the new website should be quite painless for members.

    Now, please don’t ask for a date… I dunno. 🙂
