Hey all,
I plan on going after The Artful Dodger while at the campout. This is a very long cache, a 3 stage multi, with a twist. I found the first waypoint last weekend while down there hiding temps, and want to finish it at the campout.
For more info on The Artful Dodger, see GC585B
I will be leaving from the registration area around 1100 on Saturday morning, May 17. Please let me know if you want to join me. One of the waypoints is near Jeremy’s virtual, I’m King Of The World, GC6876, so we will stop there as well.

05/07/2008 at 5:02 pm #1888906Ralph, it’s on our list as well. I spoke to the cache owner just yesterday and he said he would check on all the stages of the cache prior to the campout to make sure everything was in place for us.
Saturday morning works for us too! We’ll see you there.
05/07/2008 at 5:33 pm #1888907I was hoping to fit this in, but from the sound of it, my nephew and I might be saving this one for when his legs are a bit longer.
05/07/2008 at 5:51 pm #1888908We plan on hunting all of the permanent caches in the park so I’ll talk to you Friday night about this one. I like all the help I can get on multis.
05/07/2008 at 7:46 pm #1888909If I can leave my registration / GPS upload post for a couple hours, I’d be in. I’ve found one of the second stage waypoints but never completed it…
Ralph, can we hit your temp caches along the way? They should go pretty quick if you give us some extra hints. π

I might be interested, but I won’t know until I’m there. Can I just let you know on Sat morning?

05/07/2008 at 10:23 pm #1888911I’d love to also and I am sure Digital Dan (The Multi King) would too. If we can go maybe after lunch, when the majority of the registrations are done, that would work. Those of us who want to go can hit the busy work early, then take off…..maybe??
Lets discuss it Friday evening over a fire and a Leinie Red and see what we all come up it. π

Ok, talk to you Friday….I am planning on 1100, because that is generally when the work of registration tapers off quite a lot.

Sounds good. I think by 1100, the rush will be over, and it will only take 2 or 3 people to stay back at the registration shelter. I guess since Bec and Tie havent spoken up about going, they are volunteering to stay and man the fort. π

Yes, Jesse, will be caching with me. She went with last Sunday, and we walked around the lake, and she was tired, but happy. So was her owner.
