get dissapointed when you see what looks to be a good strong storm coming towards you on the radar, and then just before it gets to you it breaks apart, and you don’t get any weather?
that was a really long run on sentence…..yes, I’m bored today.
06/05/2005 at 11:02 pm #1749689Only when I cancelled plans because it was supposed to storm but never did, but I really can’t complain about all this nice weather, especially since I’m on the tail end of a two-week vacation watching the new little Cheese Doodle and it’s rained maybe twice at the most which is great because spending all that time stuck indoors with a baby and his three-year-old brother would get a little… trying… to say the least, especially since the little one is not sleeping through the night yet or at least sleeping on a regular schedule, so since Mrs. Cheesehead is off her maternity leave and back teaching, I’m the one who’s been getting up for the late-night feedings so I’ve been a little tired and if I were stuck indoors, all I’d be doing is taking naps, so it’s good to get outside, although it’s annoying with the weather forecasts that have been calling for rain so I make plans to be indoors, but then it’s nice, and I really can’t complain about all the nice weather, because… wait, didn’t I already say that?
Now that’s a run-on sentence…

06/06/2005 at 2:05 am #1749691We drove INTO the mess up near Merrill and Tomahaw last nite. Just as they put out tornado warnings. Got home at 0300 and drove thru a MESS in GB. Got to Two Rivers and the roads were barely wet. Hmmm.. Now I gotta go water I thought, but got a good downpour this evening!
06/06/2005 at 2:34 am #1749692it rained up here pretty good for about 2 minutes, now its just sprinkling….I was hoping for some Lightning and some thunderboomers.

Yep. I get bummed when the storms break apart just shy of my area. I love storms.

Little Fishcacher was a non-sleeper as a baby, so I can totally relate to how you are feeling right now! Lots and lots of *~*go to sleep baby*~* vibes to your home!!

06/07/2005 at 2:48 am #1749695Imagine my surprise when it started snowing while I was out hunting caches Sunday. Of course I was slightly higher in elevation than my ‘hood… I wasn’t at all disappointed that my flight got out of Milwaukee Saturday noon without any storm delays 😉

Green Bay is protected by the all mighty bubble…everything breaks to the north and/or south and bypasses us or breaks up completely before ever reaching us.
Glad we decided to stay home this weekend instead of spending it in a tent at Hartman Creek SP.
