Anyone going to Glacier National Park?

Not sure if this is the right place for this thread but by any chance is anyone going to be visiting Glacier National Park in Montana? Maybe for a spring or summer vacation? I have an EarthCache all planned out except that the reviewer said that my tasks could be armchair logged so I need more location-specific information. Unfortunately, I don’t have another visit planned. If anyone is planning on going and could help me out, that would be great. Thanks!

Well I want to go too! Too bad we can’t all be on vacation all the time. 🙂 I actually put a note in the geocaching.com forums and someone is going to help me out.

This place is on my bucket list of places I want to go to. It’s towards the top. Hopefully soon I will get to go there (before the glaciers are gone)!

If you go, plan on going no earlier than the beginning of July. I was there on my birthday (June 24th) 3 years ago and they didn’t have the pass cleared to drive all the way through the park…so we missed about 1/2 the park. They were on schedule to have the pass cleared a few days after we left MT. That was a real BUMMER.

I was there last summer and got information to create an EarthCache but I wasn’t thinking it through apparently. I didn’t really get any location-specific questions so that the cache could not be armchair logged. Geoaware doesn’t want to publish it until I solve this problem.
