Comkelp and myself will be representing the WGA tomorrow at the Cornell 4th Annual Angler “Ed-Venture” event. This event is open to all, and focuses on outdoor activities of all sorts, but especially fishing. We will have a booth showing folks how to get started in geocaching.
I’ve attached a copy of the ad flyer for any who may be interested. The event is a family event, and runs from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
One of the attractions at the event is that they have scheduled a guest speaker, Mr. Kenny Salwey, known as “The Last River Rat”. He will be speaking at 1:30pm but will also have a table set up during our event so he can talk to participants as well as share the 4 books he has authored.
Stop on by, if in the area.

The Cornell event was a success. We were involved in this primarily because the ranger at Brunet State Park (where we had our fall picnic) requested that we be involved. Turned out to be a great event. Attached is the thank you note to the WGA.

Thanks for your time! 😀
