We adopted one recently that had been down since November and just put it back online sunday afternoon.

it is a tough one, though pretty easy terrain. It was our first FTF, and now our first adopted cache

And we just adopted the cache that was our very first. Haven’t had a chance to get out there and scope it out to see what is needed to bring it back online. But it should be this week sometime.

I hunted for some caches this past weekend and two of them were disabled the day before I hunted them. One had nearly a years worth of DNF’s under its belt. I wish there was some automated program that could root these caches out.

On a positive note, I had an email conversation with the owner of Miniwaukan Cache on the list. He didn’t understand that he was the one who needed to archive the cache and was waiting for the approvers to do it. Should be done this week.

On a negative note, it looks like someone has reenabled a cache without bothering to put it back out again. I won’t mention the name here, as I am still working with the approvers, but if you are hunting caches in the Waterford/Rochester area, please check the logs before heading out to avoid disappointment.
