thanks for the locations help. that still doesn’t help me figure which car is best. but maybe i’ll take another look this weekend and see if i can figure it out better.
06/01/2007 at 11:32 pm #1874955Is anyone else equally frustrated with the code part of this game? I managed to decode two of the Toadz messages in the game forum, but I’m trying to work with the first clue in the Toadz code (cause I already have that coin) and I am just beyond frustrated now.
Usually I love these kinds of things, too. Maybe because my life in general is really frustrating right now, I have no patience. This was supposed to be stress relief, not stress causing! Guess I’ll just play to the point of finding the outlaws while caching and let this part of it go.
Sigh.
06/02/2007 at 3:31 am #1874956I’ve only three requirements left to find but I’m not going to be able to log anymore into jail until Monday. We are camping tonight and I’m only home because we ran back home with my three year old daughter when the severe weather started to roll in.
I’ve identified two caches to satisfy of my remaining requirements but I still need an apple/orchard/crop cache.
Half of my requirements were satisfied without even trying and I only realized what I had found when I was reading the cache pages as I was logging my finds.
Just find a cache in an area you have not cached, that meets one of the requirements, and hunt any other caches in the area. You’d be surprised what you find when you are not even looking.
Has anyone figured out the key to the Fast Forward. I missed mine and Jay Mills is trying to figure his out before he runs out of time. He has the 16 lines decoded but that still doesn’t tell you where to look.
I guess I know less about the fast forward than I thought.
06/02/2007 at 4:17 am #1874957I’m still working on the decoding, but making some progress. I have five of the lines decoded now, working on the 6th.
When I read the games forum, there were a whole bunch of coded comments in the thread about fast forwards, and I copied one down that suggested it was helpful. I ordered a lizard decoder anyway that should come any day, so I’m waiting for that to do those codes.
Has everyone scrolled over the “not for public” file? Try it. There are some little tidbits in there, too.
3Hawks, sorry about the nasty weather. Never fun, especially with young kids. We had lightning strike the campsite across from ours once–fortunately that one was empty—camping in Door County. Not a fun way to end a trip!
Good luck to everyone in the posse. We aren’t sure if we’ll be able to get out and help this weekend or not, since Trekkin’ seems to fade in and out with this suspected Lymes. Sigh. The things we must endure to bring these wrongdoers to justice!
06/02/2007 at 12:44 pm #1874958as far as i can figure the fast forwards are somewhere on the map page at the 7th and 13th hunt. i decoded 7 of the lines last nite and am having brain freeze this morning. i was hoping the rest would give me more info.
it doesnt matter that you can’t log till after the weekend, if you’re not in an active chase.
06/02/2007 at 2:02 pm #1874959djwini, I figured out those codes last night, too. I still have a bunch to go, though. I looked at “latest activity” and those people who have earned fast forwards have found a hidden spot and solved a puzzle. I’m still puzzling over what that could even be, and if you figure THAT out, how you make it happen, LOL.
I was hoping my lizard coin would come in today’s mail but it didn’t. All this cyphering has made me lazy when it comes to making my own, LOL.
06/02/2007 at 4:09 pm #1874960Well I found the invisible spot and I will tell you that puzzle it is a tough nut to crack, or at least the one I got was. I tried for several hours (I needed to get sleep) and ran out of time. I won’t say anymore lest I ruin the surprise. As for the rhymes, google “rhyme dictionary”, that should help.

That’s exactly how I found this apple cache:
It mentions that the cache is hidden in an old overgrown orchard. You can still kind of see it in places. A bit of a drive from Oak Creek, but not too bad.
06/02/2007 at 7:47 pm #1874962GC1102C is also located in an old orchard. Unfortunatelt for me I placed it there, pfffft. Oh well the search goes on for something close by or may have to chance the location requirement.
06/03/2007 at 3:01 am #1874963So do you receive the puzzle as you begin your 7th chase? Cause that’s where we’ll be shortly. We are waiting to put Kim Worst in jail, then we can toss Varner in the slammer after that. We found a cache called “Way Back Cornfield in Chimney Rock.” A crop name qualifies, too.
All of the Chimney Rock caches travel through lovely little quiet country roads. Hopefully they will remain this way!

Yes during the 7th
06/03/2007 at 6:16 pm #1874965A new thing. Check it out.
And what’s with those petroglyphs that keep popping up???
06/03/2007 at 8:40 pm #1874966Well, I may meet the same fate as Jay Mills. I found my spot, but my eyes are going buggy trying to solve my puzzle. Might be time to accept defeat!
Sure are a lot of cool looking caches in Utah, though.
06/03/2007 at 8:49 pm #1874967i’ve got one code to go and i have tried every combination i can think of. i’m spending more time working the codes than caching. but i got hit with an 8 hour wait on the last vehicle i picked. i’m going to need the fast forwards just to stay in the game….
06/03/2007 at 8:52 pm #1874968I still Need:
Nopar King – I should be able to get him
Peanut Gang
Uncut Bill – I’m running out of local Puzzle caches….anyone want to solve a Ranger Boy hide for me?
Mudd Varner
JD Apple Slinger
Masked MenaceAnyone know where I can get these close to Ocon?
