9/11 Kregg Lumpkin (GB – RB) Add Free Agents Mathman
Time to add Donald Lee. He’s going to have better numbers than Zach Miller.
Yeah, and he’ll have better ones than Alge too. Think I’ll give him a shot if he’s not already gone.
Tye nabbed him!

09/15/2008 at 12:09 am #1890402What the heck happened to Kitna in the second half of the fourth quarter? He reminded me of Brett Favre trying to do everything by himself. He was helping me out until that point. I’m thinking I got shmucked today.

I think Kitna’s blockers failed and his receivers weren’t trying very hard. Those big receivers might be talented but they lack the enthusiasm and “want to.”
09/15/2008 at 5:55 am #1890404Seriously? 2 words: “Garbage Time.” In “Garbage Time”, your guy will either put up a snotload of meaningless numbers, or, particularly in the case of a quarterback, give up a snotload of meaningless numbers. Kitna in particular is vulnerable for the latter. If you look at last year, he was freaky good in yards and TDs for playing for a horrible team, but he did have the turnovers to show the way. You’ve always been able to look at his numbers and, even without knowing who’s numbers they were, you knew you were looking at a decent QB playing for a bad team, just as you saw tonight.
09/15/2008 at 2:23 pm #1890405WOW my team sux!
It didn’t help that I played the wrong QB either, but that’s only 4 more points and would have made no difference.

I played the wrong QB too…..Cutler scored big time for Denver….Hard to sit Drew Brees though.
man, this game is tougher than it looks.

09/15/2008 at 5:59 pm #1890407I got burned by Cheezehead’s Anquan Bolden who scored 3 touchdowns yesterday.
I had that player last year and he never scored more than 1!
I think the commissioner must have fixed something for that to happen! π

09/16/2008 at 5:07 am #1890409woo, that was a close one. Looks like the 3 scores by Brian Westbrook tonight was enough to snatch a victory for the Zoinkers, right from the jaws of defeat. I needed him to score 16 points, and he just barely made it (I think).
Ok, who do I start at QB next week? Brees or Cutler? New Orleans is playing Denver. Do I go with the hot hand against the weaker defense, or go with one of the top quarterbacks in the league? Hmmmmm?

09/16/2008 at 8:50 pm #1890411Well, I guess I had a better week two than I thought I had. Yeah I know, it’s still a loss. But oh so close.

Well that’s not too hard to do when you didn’t play a kicker and your WR/RB was not even playing this week.

Elfy – You got burned last night by the little punk Desean Jackson. That would have been a touchdown for McNabb had the moron crossed the goal line with the ball instead of tossing it like he was king of the world. What an idiot. The next play went to Westbrook for a TD. Desean’s action reminded me of something I read the other day regarding Reggie Bush. I have to agree with this guy:
“Dear Reggie Bush, if you spent half as much time trying to win games as you do taunting your opponents down the sideline you would suck a lot less. Bush breaks a kick return and starts show-boating and waiving goodbye to Redskins defenders. The Redskins come roaring back and win the game. I wonder what is more important? You may want to consult those RB’s that came before you and knew how to do it with class. You NEVER saw Walter Payton waive goodbye to a defender. Barry Sanders didn’t showboat on his way down the sideline and he did it about 100 more times than you. This generation of football players is really starting to piss me off.”

Ok Zuma….
I’m going to help you out. You should drop one of your no-name Backs or TE and pick up Matt Flynn! You should do well to heed my advice. -
