Did anyone here get an automated email from FanHouse titled Fantasy Football Season is Coming Fast? I have tried to open it four times now and everytime I get kicked off line. I just want to know if it is junk or something important for FF.

Thank you cheesehead. According to the wife, this was some kind of message sent from aol. I am guessing that they have FF as well and are trying to steer customers that way.

Yes I got that message from AOL as well. You might not have been able to open it if you didn’t have the links for email enabled. No big deal. The REAL DEAL is with the Cheesestick league! 😆

I just received my Packer Tickets yesterday. I have tickets to the Dallas/Green Bay game on Sunday night! The seats are even at the 10 yard line albeit up in section 300. I can’t wait to see Favre throw a TD pass to Rodgers!

Do you guys do a live draft or just have it autodraft? I just bring this up because you can actually have a live draft on Yahoo and people who don’t make it for the draft will get autodrafted. It can make for a lot of fun.
No answer to this? Is it not even an option?
An autodraft was used last year (and I thought the plan was to do this again this year).
Bummer. A live draft for those who can make it is tons of fun.
Yes, they are fun but it’s hard to get everyone together for it. Would you rather be in from of your puter on a sunny Sunday or out looking for a geocache? Everybody gets pretty busy that last week too. Auto drafts seem to work out well for everyone.
Just a heads up. With the 1st game on Sept. 4, I’m think that I’ll push the draft button on Monday night. as all the cuts should be made Sunday night. So make sure you adjust your rank sheet by then. I’ll give more heads ups before I push the button.

You said you will be making some scoring changes. Have you thought about possibly changing the way WR’s are scored? Perhaps 1 point for every 25 yards instead of 50 yards? Just wondering.

The beauty of it is that those who want to sit there on a Sunday and draft can do so and those who don’t wish to do so will get the same autodraft they would have gotten anyway.
Well, that might be, but since it’s my league, I’m the commish and I DON”T want to sit in front of my puter, it’s gonna stay an auto-draft.

My thinking on scoring is that in Real football there are no points for yardage, so why should there be in FF. The changes made where kick off & punt returns for TD’s. That box never got checked last year.So, for the most part there will be no other changes, unless there is an overwhelming majority for one.
