I know this topic has been covered many, many times but if you suspect someone is doing a bunch of it, how do you contact Groundspeak? Am I correct in guessing the reviewers aren’t the geopolice?

Looking for real facts not opinions of whether I should or not. I know there’s as many opinions as belly buttons out there.

If it’s on yours why not just delete the logs?

As long as it i not bothering you, maybe forget about it.

We’ve encountered this with our virtuals, and also a couple ECs.  If it’s clearly an armchair log…..multiple virtuals from all over the world on the same day…it gets deleted.  With the ECs, we communicate with the person (who hasn’t sent answers) and if we get no response after a week…it’s gone.  That falls under the category of maintenance for those cache types.

I know there have been virtual caches archived by groundspeak when the owner doesn’t follow up on that kind of thing.  So we don’t like to ignore that when it happens.

I just got a log where a cacher was calling out the previous finder for no name on the log.  Plus, they claim that WP1 was damaged by them.  I haven’t gotten the details yet on how it was damaged.  But the previous finder isn’t a newbie, they’re very experienced cachers.  Ugh, I really don’t want to deal with drama but it really is a shame to see people doing that!

Oh the woes of the short geocacher!
