Please check your EC’s and be sure that you do not have a photo requirement which requires the face (or other specific item) be shown. This is now to be considered an ALR (additional logging requirement) and will no longer be allowed. To keep the photo requirement it needs to be made less specific; for example, a change made from requiring a picture of your face to requiring a picture at an identifiable part of the location would make the photo requirement acceptable.
If anyone adopted one of my ECs and does not know how to edit the HTML let me know and I can help you make the changes…though I don’t think I required faces in my write-ups.
According to the new guidelines regarding logging requirements:
You can:
Require site-specific questions be answered. After the site-specific questions are listed on the page you can also require that a picture be taken at the site. If the questions are wrong or not answered you may delete the find. Also the lack of a picture (weather the questions are answered correctly or not) is also grounds for deletion of the log.
You cannot:
Ask for a picture alone or as the main logging requirement or require a specific picture…in other words I can require a general picture be taken at the site but not a picture of your face while you are doing a handstand at the site.
You may ask for specific pictures but those must be made optional and you cannot delete a find if they choose not to comply.
