Sad to admit I made a stop on the way home from work to get my Smiley and Souvenir

Or maybe a $$$ voucher like that MLB team in Beer Towne………… 😆 😆 Now there is irritation!
Ca$h on!
The beer town has an MLB team? I didn’t know that. I thought they played in the minor leagues 😛

I think it dilutes the whole concept of souvenirs unless they’re going to group them or something on the stats page for this. It irritates me to the point I don’t want to cache because I don’t want them in my list. It ranks right up there with the “challenge” idea they had a while ago which was just plain silly.
ARGGGGHHH!!! So I’m a hypocrite. I found a cache at lunch time today.

What can I say…I was dropping something off at the post office out by the mall and there was a cache nearby that I had not found…so yes…I did found it and got my souvenir!

08/01/2013 at 9:58 pm #1971282Pooh’s Pal just dictated his log for today’s find. He thinks that souvenir is “awesome.” Since he can hardly ever find a cache big enough to trade toys anymore, why not give the kid a digital toy? 🙄
08/01/2013 at 10:05 pm #1971283I found 4 today so that will carry me through Sunday, right?
08/01/2013 at 10:24 pm #1971284I did cache maintenance today, does that count?

08/01/2013 at 10:51 pm #1971285Does anyone know the time frame for logging these souvenirs? Is it a week or two like most of the others? It would be interesting if people went to log today’s finds tomorrow, but the August 1 souvenir was no longer available… 😈
08/02/2013 at 1:58 am #1971286That is what I’m hoping for. Usually I log finds right away. But I might be willing to wait several days to log a find if needed.
08/02/2013 at 2:16 am #1971287First day nearly over and no souvenir for me. So that means I’ve got a one day no souvenir streak going!! LOL
08/02/2013 at 7:06 am #1971288I went out and got my souvenir today.
I think it will be fun to try to get them all.
It’s an excuse to go cacheing which always is fun plus you get a little something extra. It’s a win win.
Sure it doesn’t really mean anything but in the end it will make me happy.

It’s about you and your caching experience, whatever it is. Good luck, Error3!
08/02/2013 at 1:32 pm #1971290Waiting to see if an “August Souvenir Virgin” page pops up on Facebook.
Day 1- no souvenir for me.

08/02/2013 at 1:49 pm #1971291Well, we’re seeing that some are logging challenges that they actually found another time to get their souvenir today. Oh well. We did log a challenge, but we actually found a cache, too.
08/02/2013 at 2:00 pm #1971292Well I’m carless today so we’ll see if I manage to find a cache today.
