Hi, and thank you for taking a moment to learn a little about me.
My name is Rob England and I live in Sheboygan with my wife Karen and our son Brent. I also have a daughter, Stephanie, who is out on her own now. My wife and I have been geocaching since October, 2006 when we discovered the hobby after purchasing a GPSr for camping and hiking. As soon as we found that first cache 4+ years ago we have both been hooked.
My day job is at Sargento Foods in Plymouth where I am a process technician and have worked there now for 13 years. Outside of geocaching I am leader in the Boy Scouts where I hold the position of advancement chair for a troop in Plymouth.
My wife and I try to make as many events as we can, depending on work and finances at the time. We’ve volunteered at many events including a number of CITO’s, pancake breakfasts at the WGA Camp-outs and West Bend Cash Bash.
I currently serve on the website committee where we are in the process of working on the migration of our site to a new server.
I would like to be on the BOD to serve the members of the WGA and help promote geocaching in the state of Wisconsin. I also want to give back to the community of geocachers which has given so much to me.
Again thank you for the nomination, and I look forward to the chance of serving on the WGA Board of Directors.
Sincerely,
Rob “Averith” England
