No current issues, but if someone is willing to be my backup for caring for my caches (Belgium, Port Washington, Saukville) in the event something goes wacko … please let me know here. Small wackos I can just disable the cache, of course.
Two weeks ago I was unloading some bikes off my trailer, I slipped on the ramp … upper body on the concrete, lower body still on the ramp … split my patella (knee cap) into 3 seperate pieces. Had surgery 10 days ago … just learned yestered that I’m going to be home-bound (no work, no walk, no drive) for 4 to 6 weeks yet. And that’s assume all goes well … one of the pins in my leg might be slipping out of replace, requiring surgery again. I’m not terribly happy being trapped in the house.
For the curious, the latest hi-tech digital (no film) xray: http://www.portfishnet.com/xrays/IMG00003.jpg

05/30/2010 at 12:30 am #1929916I travel through the area here and there, and I live in Brown Deer. If there is an issue let me know and I will do what I can to help you out :). I feel your pain, I tore my achilles tendon and had to have surg. on it…it is a great time to work on those puzzle caches 🙂

Take care of yourself first, dare I say it, Caching is less important than your health. You know that but I had to say it.
05/30/2010 at 3:45 am #1929918I had an accident about that serious three years ago. Look at the positive side of things, you’re missing most of tick season, and there will be a lot of new local caches for you to rehab on when the Doc. gives you the all clear. Best of luck on your recovery.

05/30/2010 at 10:43 pm #1929920Ron – I can be your backup until you’re back on your feet. I think I’ve done all but some in Harrington Beach. I don’t have any on my watch list, so shoot me an email if something comes up. For Belgium and Harrington Beach, I’m pretty sure I can get KCKennelCrew to give you a hand.
05/31/2010 at 3:03 am #1929921Ron — I’m so sorry to hear about your pain! Hope you feel better soon.
06/01/2010 at 2:15 pm #1929922Sorry to here about your spill. I’m always around and in the area. Just drop a line.
