Some of the best caching in the state is concentrated in Rusk and Barron counties. While there are lots of great caches in those 2 counties, the best of the lot is the Blue Hills Devil’s Kettle, recently adopted by Crazy4. Also, highly recommended is a Moment of Zen by BenJam.
The Blue Hills Devil’s Kettle is a unique geological formation, that just amazes ya once ya get back there, and most amazing is that it hasnt been turned into a tourist attraction. Just a really cool place in the middle of nowhere. Kudos to Crazy4 for adopting this cache. As an added bonus, Crazy4 has about 30 caches, mostly in Rusk county, all at scenic spot, all well maintained and all pretty easy to find.
If you like a little more challenge getting to a cache, check out some of BenJam’s caches in Barron County. His are also in great spots scenery and experience wise, and often are challenging to get to.
I mention this, in case anyone is wondering where it might be cool to do a camping/caching trip this summer.
