Looks like we had a bear wandering around this week too in the St. Germain area. I know West Salem did a couple weeks ago. Now this week in the paper there was a photo of a young bear wandering around in the snow. Guess we will have to scratch one of our reasons for enjoying winter caching more than summer.
Timberline Echoes01/11/2007 at 3:15 pm #1768139The Bears aren’t wandering, they are in fact pretty focused right now. Maybe after the Super Bowl…
01/11/2007 at 4:33 pm #1768140If that’s the case then we should not have to worry about The Bears after this weekend…..

Actually, the Super Bowl is scheduled for Feb 4. 😆
01/11/2007 at 8:04 pm #1768142Judging from their play against the Packers in the last regular season game, “wandering” seems like the appropriate verb. Certainly less harsh than “looking for a spot to hibernate”….. 😆
01/11/2007 at 8:16 pm #1768143Seriously though, I’ve cached in New Mexico where you have to worry about Mountain Lions, and have seen bears in northern Wisconsin on campouts – I haven’t even considered the danger.
I guess, maybe just take a slower cacher with you LOL
01/11/2007 at 8:34 pm #1768144I was wondering it those big fuzzy guys were out and about with the nice weather. Tell me their internal alarms aren’t gonna be all messed up this year!! LOL

So that explains why so many folks want me to go caching with them. 😆 Any one know where I can get a sign that says “Bait” for my back?

01/15/2007 at 4:45 pm #1768148Does Gusty think Da Bears can keep the Cinderella Saints from going to the Ball?
01/15/2007 at 11:37 pm #1768149HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Do you really think Rex Grossman can keep it up under the pressure 2 games in a row?Go Saints!
From a diehard Packers fan,

OK, now they’re gone. Is Gusty going to make any further prognostications?
