i have been asked to teach a beginning workshop in Oak Creek in June for the Forever Young Club. Does any one have any suggestions on a great, short explanation of geocaching for their newsletter or should I make one up? Also, I have never taught the class before so any tips would be welcome. We are going to meet at their community center where I will give a short talk and demonstration and then we are going over to a nearby park to follow a geo trail and find a few caches in the park.
Groundspeak has some really good short and sweet videos explaining geocaching. Just go to the website and there’s a tab for videos.

Lisa I’ve never given a formal Geocaching 101 class either but I could possibly help out. Perhaps even hide some temporary caches for the day.
If you don’t find what you want, let me know. I have a couple of presentations people have shared with me when they have given them.
