i want a quick website to get a map using gps coordinates. what do you use?
I don’t know the “best”, but just type the coords into the search box on Google.
Would this work?
http://maps.google.com (provides street level view for a large portion of metro areas). Very helpful for looking for parking, landmarks, etc.
http://www.bing.com/maps/explore (provides birds eye view which will take you to the exact cedar tree and allows for 360 rotation to see it from multiple angles)
Both are fairly quick / good in my opinion. I use both depending on what I’m trying to do.
thanks, those are exactly what i was looking for.
maps.google.com put the gps location in and you get street, sat or terrain maps.
I’m fond of the Bing map myself. The bird’s eye view is very clear and has fairly recent photography.
