Most of the 24 caches I visited on my all day marathon yesterday 10-14 had a log in it from Bruce S from St Charles, MO! Check this guy out! He will have over 1100 finds by the time he is done logging them all!

(Ah, I’m just jealous that I can’t drive all over the country and hunt geocaches. Wait a minute… sometimes I do!)
10/17/2002 at 8:28 pm #1745262I actually met him a week or so ago while hunting for “Murdock”. Apparantly his job takes him all around the country, and wherever he goes, he makes sure to bring along some cache printouts so he has something to do besides sit in his hotel room.
Otter, you need to get yourself a job like that! You’d really be in business!
10/18/2002 at 3:05 pm #1745263Hi all,
I want to thank all the Wisconsin geocachers for having so many great caches to visit. I had a great time when I was in your state. I was at a business meeting at Lake Geneva 10/3-10/6 and extended the trip through 10/11 to do a little more cache. Most of my caching is now done on caching trips/business trips. During this trip I found 197 caches between 10/2 and 10/11, in Illinois and Wisconsin, but mostly in Wisconsin. I hope to finish logging them all soon. Thanks again,
Bruce

I had the pleasure of writing to Bruce.. as well as questioning when he DOES work (smiles)… Nice guy.. give him a break..
He actually got stumped on one of mine.. even offered to sit at Dells of the Wisconsin River #1 and goat him on to victory (smiles).. love tagging along with geocachers that travel up to my neck of the woods.. this sport is great.. and gives this lil otter a chance to TALK alot instead of Type alot about caching.. (smiles)And you all thought I had too much time on my hands…

BruceS has logged a cache on your watch list
Seriously, good going Bruce. I’ve enjoyed reading about your travels as the emails came in throughout the morning.
10/19/2002 at 1:11 am #1745266You’re not kidding, Ken! Bruce whipped though a bunch of my caches with great descriptions. Missing in Monches is not a quick and easy hunt to do. I feel good when I get to sneak a hunt or two in on an out of town business trip. I’m green with envy! Way to go Bruce!
