Hi all you bicycle enthusiasts!
My brakes have become squeaky. What do I do to fix this problem? I’m guessing I need some oil or grease or WD-40 or something. And it goes somewhere. That’s all I know.
I’m going riding again tomorrow afternoon, so advice ASAP would be appreciated. Otherwise it’s “SQUEEEE SQUEEEE SQUEEEE” all the way home….
TIA
Bec
Ask LB7, his middle name is Shrek or Trek or something like that.
Yeah — that most likely will help. Sounds like work though…. 😆
Just now hoping it’s not too muggy when I get done with work.
Thank you!
Bec
You didn’t specify that you wanted someone to fix them for you. Otherwise I suggest just dragging your feet. Seemed to work when I was a kid. Not so good on shoes though 😆
Brakes, you don’t need no steenking brakes !!
Disclaimer : Always answering to a higher power.
Make it easy on yourself and trade the bike in for a car 😆 .
Weather was too cruddy (muggy and stormy looking) for me to get on my bike (boo!)
I’m such a wimp.
Bec,
Maybe you could put some Vaseline on the brake pads. Might help with the squeaking but, beware of the stopping.
