This is from the email I got from them. Last time I made a paper wheel to decode things. The games have always been fun. Ratz
Hello Geocachers!
The Caching Place is excited to announce a new online Geocaching Game! Craig Hendricks, our software engineer extraordinaire has created “The World Explorers Quest” adventure game. The Game goes live Saturday, January 3, 2009.
The World Explorers Quest is very similar to the Hobbit’s Mystery Journey. There are twelve regions to be deciphered instead of nine. The World Explorers game features twelve well know explorers from all around the world. The codes consist of mainly pig pen symbols and some morse code. Both pig pen and morse code symbols are incorporated in the center wheel designed for this game. At each step of the game there is a map that relates to the featured explorer. The player must determine the correct spot on the map to click in order to continue to the next step. An enciphered message is given along with the map and keywords are given after one or two hours. This gives players a chance to “crack” the code and gain a time advantage over other players. As each stage of the game is completed a piece of a mystery map is given. The mystery map and a lot of cleverness will be needed in order to complete the 13th and final stage.
Again the center wheel is for sale now. We anticipate that the center wheel with the pig pen and morse code symbols will be very useful for geocachers who wish to set up puzzle caches or who need to decipher puzzles in the field.
