Bobcat found his 1000th cache a few days ago, but I just noticed today. Congratulations to Bobcat, the elder statesman of western Wisconsin geocaching.

LOL! But you still do them.
I see the El Bastardo caches as a personal challenge!
OK, I’ve only done 3 of them. But I swear the rest will be conquered someday!!!

I can die a happy man.02/10/2006 at 8:52 pm #1757950A cool grand. Way to go Bastardo. I also have chached with the Cat and happily we were DNFs on the same. Makes me feel better. Bob’s the man!
02/10/2006 at 11:52 pm #1757951WOW!!! I am trully humbled!!
I would prefer to thank each and everyone of you directly for all your support and kind words but then I would be picking a first and a last and none of you would qualify for the latter so I won’t.
Thank you ALL!!!
I am going to continue to hide but will not hide one for the four didgets. In fact, my next BIG hide won’t really be for any of you. So to speak. I don’t mean that to be disrespectful. It’s more bait than fodder.
Everyone will be able to hunt it, I’ll make sure of that but it will be for those we do not yet know. Sort of.
Thanks a bundle and a few sticks more to all of you! I do appreciate it!
And remember, if no one’s looking, it’s OKAY to grab that ‘cache in front of you!!!

I knew it was coming, and missed the “big day” – D’oh !
Congrats on reaching your goal, and I for one am Proud to say I have had the opportunity to cache with you.
Looking back, you were the 3rd finder of my first cache, and offered me some much needed encouragement over the rest of my caching history. You and your hides have taught me alot, and shown me some cool places – so Thanks Again !I need some ideas on hiding an orange matchstick container, and Im out of camo tape, so . . ..
(Can I get away with that?Way to Go Bobcat! ! !
02/28/2006 at 11:10 pm #1757953Congrats! That’s a lot of caches! And thanks for the periodic help and support you’ve given me over the last few months as well. You’re an inspiration
