BOD NOMINATIONS OPEN!

Nominations are now open for the WGA Board of Directors positions. There are 5 positions up for election, with each elected Director expected to serve a 2 year term on the Board.

Officers are elected by the WGA BOD at their annual organizational meeting, so the nominations are for Director positions only.

In the menu to the left, you will find the bold-faced “WGA BOD Elections” link, under the “Home” link. If you nominate a member, they will receive a confirmation e-mail to ACCEPT or DENY the nomination. If accepted, and supported by a second member, their name will be listed on the e-ballot.

The 2 week voting period will begin in 4 weeks, on January 25, 2014.

As of 1/14/14 we have had 8 WGA members agree to run for the 5 open Director positions.

Our members have nominated a total of 30 people that have for diverse reasons declined their nominations.

There is still time for nominations so please continue to submit.
