Just trying to gauge a hare-brained idea I had……
I would love to get together with a small group that has read that Local Treasures book about geocaching by Margot Kelly. She touches on a lot of things beyond simply finding stuff in the woods.
I don’t even know if this would fly, but if I held an event at some coffee shop to visit and chat about this book, would there be any interest?
This is the book I’m talking about….

A chance to eat, while talking about books?? Sure.
Seth’s Coffee is opening tomorrow here in Little Chute. Come on over !
They named a coffee shop after me? Too cool! Save the event for winter Gwyn, when those caches are harder to come by and your attendance will improve. The weather’s still too nice to be cooped up inside.
I’m having surgery on Monday and I’m going to try and pick up a copy before then for something to do while recovering. I like Seth’s idea of a winter get together for this one. Sounds like a perfect thing for a blizzard weekend.
I was thinking during the colder months. Stay posted.
i’m going to add it to my list of things to read.
It sounds like a very interesting book. I am going to see if any of the local bookstores or library have it.
Thanks for mentioning this book. I just ordered it. I wouldn’t mind spending a cold morning discussing it.
For those wanting a bit more edgy take on geocaching, You should look out for the release of the movie “Splinterheads”. There is a trailer on geocaching.com.
Sounds like a geocaching event to me .. let’s talk geocaching books for geocachers .. yep, I would come.
