We just finished reading the Boxcar Children # 113, The box that Watch found. It is centered around geocaching. My kids really liked reading about kids learning to geocache. I thought others might be interested in it. Has anyone else read kids stories/books that are geocache themed that you could recommend to us?

On the Left Side of the Road...01/18/2011 at 12:37 pm #1942158I’ll have to check that out. We have many of the Boxcar Children boks in our school library.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

01/18/2011 at 1:08 pm #1942160On the other end of the spectrum, I think there was a book mentioned a few years ago…maybe “Abomination”? Definitely for adults, as body parts are placed at diffedrent geocache sights!
(I didn’t rush right out and buy it, or call and reserve it, just going by memory)
01/18/2011 at 1:35 pm #1942161I have one in my head that I want to write and get published… maybe should start focusing on that…
Enjoyed some of the Boxcar series with my children when they were young.

01/18/2011 at 7:54 pm #1942165I tried to read EVERY Boxcar Children book I could get my hands on when I was a kid. Them and Encyclopedia Brown too.

My wife ordered me that book from Amazon……I’ll have to see whee it is.
I’m SOOOOOOO far behind in my book reading! 🙄01/19/2011 at 3:05 am #1942167When I lived in Maryland (Baltimore area) we had a real LIVE geo-cache thief – he was caught, but guess what? You can’t quite convict someone of the crime of stealing a geo-cache! (Has to do with the nature of placing an item on public property…
True life “mystery” story!
